Earlier this month, Vivo company has official started sending out invites for the launch of its V5 Plus smartphone in India that is scheduled to be on 23rd of January. Now the smartphone has been made available for pre-orders by a third-party retailer in Malaysia. The smartphone has been priced at the cost of MYR 1,799 which is Rs. 27,400 by the retailer.
The biggest highlight of Vivo V5 Plus is the dual front-facing camera setup. The specifications of the V5 Plus, are it runs on the Android version of 6.0 Marshmallow and sports a 5.5-inch full-High Definition(1080×1920 pixels) display. It is powered and supported by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC which is coupled with the RAM of 4GB.
On the photography department, the dual-SIM smartphone is listed to come with a 16-megapixel primary camera which is on the rear, which is tagged with LED flash and a dual-camera setup at the front (20-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors). The Vivo V5 Plus comes with inbuilt onboard storage of 64GB, which can be extended further via the microSD card of up to 256GB. The smartphone also comes with a battery of 3160 mAh which comes with support for fast charging. In terms of connectivity options, the V5 Plus offers the 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and the GPS.
The smartphone measurements are 153.8×75.5×7.6 mm with respect to its length x height x thickness and is weighs around 158.6 grams. The Vivo V5 Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner which is placed right into the home button.
