Samsung on the Friday has officially launched its new smartphones in India. The Galaxy J2 Ace is priced at the cost of Rs. 6,890. The Galaxy J2 Ace is the newest entry level smartphone in the company J series lineup. The smartphone will be available in three color variants Black, Gold, and Silver and will be available via both the online and offline retailers from 16th of January.
The Galaxy J2 Ace is a more higher version of the Galaxy J2 (2016) that was launched in the July 2016 at the price of Rs. 9,750. The Galaxy J2 Ace is part of the ‘Make for India’ project and includes the mode for data saving which provides around 50 percent mobile data savings with the compression of data .The S bike mode with rider optimisations is also present in the smartphone.
The Galaxy J2 Ace runs on the Android version of 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5-inch Quad High Definition display with Samsung Turbo Speed Technology (TST) that optimizes the device’s RAM so that the application can open faster. The smartphone is powered and supported by a a 1.4GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with the RAM of 1.5GB.
The Galaxy J2 Ace sports an 8-megapixel primary camera which is on the rear and a 5-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and video calling. Both the back and front cameras feature the aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash. The handset comes with 8GB of inbuilt onboard storage which can be extended further via 128GB using the Micro SD Card.
The connectivity options on the Galaxy J2 Ace include the 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and USB 2.0. The handset is fitted with a battery of 2600mAh.
