M.S. Dhoni has shocked the entire country full of cricket fans when he walked away from captaincy and no clear reason has seemed to come out till now. Everyone has been giving their part of speculations related to his decision but then again it is all just ideas. In a recent interview, Rahul Dravid has come forward and shared his views. These are a must listen as for the first time, someone is not judging the decision rather is trying to explain how it is good or for the bad. Take a look below.
According to Rahul, this is good as it will give the long due chance of captaincy to Virat. Saying on this, ““I think, if he didn’t see himself continuing till the next World Cup, he got the timing really right. I think it is a good time to let Virat Kohli take over and have enough time to be able to build a one-day team to his liking for the next World Cup.”
Adding to this firther, he said “I guess if you are Kohli, you will actually be hoping that MS Dhoni does really well and is able to hold on to his place. Because you would like that kind of experience performing well in the team. Just that knowledge would be priceless for Kohli to have.”
He also praise M.S. Dhoni for his amazing career and says that he will always be remembered as India’s most successful captain.
Now that is some pretty intelligent comment as he is not taking sides but at the same time he is giving his unbiased opinion and being Rahul Dravid, everyone will listen to him as well!
